Artist Statement
Nada Meeks is a professional Illustrator with a B.F.A. from the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota Florida. Proficient in a variety of styles and medium including oil, acrylic, color pencil, digital illustration, collage and a variety of mix media, Nada has created an assortment of whimsical illustrations for the cabinets and furniture as well as promotional material for the Ringling School of Art and Designs, and The North Florida Community College, of Madison Florida, including Christmas greeting cards and the illustrated calculus primer, ‘Dr. Dorphendoo’. Having moved to Utah in 2003 to be with family, She continues to illustrate highly imaginative and colorful images of fantasy and fancy in her own published works ‘Beyond the Moonlight Hills’ and ‘The Snowman Band’ and now ‘Ordinary Angels’ three rhyming tale of wonder, now available at Boarders Books on University Drive in Provo UT . Nada Meeks has a love of creativity and the arts which have always been a part of her life, and it is the love of art the she wishes to share through her work.
